Kevin Thomas Jr tops USAC/CRA Sprints at Hanford, Gardner takes California Sprint Week title
By USAC (Hanford, CA) -- Kevin Thomas Jr. of Cullman, Ala. won Saturday night’s AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car “California Sprint Week” finale at Keller Auto Speedway at Kings Fairgrounds. Damion Gardner finished second and claimed the “California Sprint Week” championship. Geoff Ensign, Logan Williams and Jace Vander Weerd rounded out the “top-five” in the 30-lap race. Thomas passed Gardner on lap 26 and led the final five laps for his third win in six “California Sprint Week” starts.
