Kaeding Eyes Ocean Season Finale and USAC West Coast 360 Race
PETERSEN MEDIA- After a dominant weekend last weekend at Ocean Speedway, and in his USAC West Coast 360, Campbell, CA driver, Bud Kaeding, is set to do it all again this weekend.
After dominating the Taco Bravo feature last week until the very end, Bud will be back in action this week looking to finish one spot better and end the night in victory lane.
The twist this weekend is that he will climb aboard the Werbach Motorsports No.20 entry. A weekly staple of the Ocean Speedway, Bud is excited to get back in the seat of the potent machine.
“I’m excited to climb in the 20 car this weekend and see what we can do in it,” explained Kaeding. “It’s usually a strong piece, and I cant thank those guys enough for giving me the opportunity.”
Saturday night Bud will climb aboard his BZE/Alviso Rock/Maxim for a special ‘Open’ show for the USAC West Coast 360 series at the Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford, CA.
In two previous races with the series, Bud has came up just short from the victory and will look to end 2011 the right way.
“The last two nights out in the non-wing car we have been really fast,” said Bud. “In Santa Maria I messed up on a late restart, and in Tulare last week we cut a left rear and ended up second both times. This weekend we’re going to see if we can end the season in style.”
