Faccinto, Smith, Fuson & Garcia Score USAC Micro Sprint Wins at Plaza Park

Michael Faccinto, T.J. Smith, Brody Fuson and Gauge Garcia picked up feature wins in last Saturday night's USAC Micro Sprint Championship season opener last Saturday, April 1, at Keller Auto Raceway at Plaza Park in Visalia, California.

In the Super 600 main event, Michael Faccinto swept the night by recording the fastest qualifying lap in time trials before winning his heat and passing Ryan Delisle with six laps remaining to take the feature victory over Delisle, Jake Hagopian, Tucker Worth and Zane Blanchard.

T.J. Smith led all 30 laps to win the Non-Wing 600 feature over Justyne Hamblin, Michael Faccinto, Ben Worth and Cory Elliott.

Brody Fuson took over the lead from Keith Day, Jr. on lap 16 and led the remaining 10 laps of the 25-lap feature to earn the checkered flag in Restricted action followed by Garth Kasiner, Kyle Peterson, Garrett Twitt and Katey Syra.

Gauge Garcia led all 20 laps of the Junior feature to take the victory over Caeden Steele, Isabel Barnes, Jeffery Pahule and Eli Bookout.

The USAC Micro Sprint Championship returns to action at Keller Auto Raceway at Plaza Park on Saturday, April 8.
